Why PINTEREST?
I choose to feature Pinterest because it's something I want to have, and keep using as a necessary tool as a teacher. It's more like board that contains all different ideas that you find important. I was pretty aware of Pinterest and have been reading a lot but I never thought of it as something a tool for professional development in teaching more especially when collecting ideas about teaching, learning, classroom management, educational technology, and other ideas about education.
For the first time I have created boards while browsing ideas and pin it. Lately, I starting making pins myself from the pictures I made in my class. Pinterest help me to gather more valuable ideas and I can easily look find the right words and tips on how to deal some issues in class or if my ideas does conform with my teaching principles. Although I read a lot of research ideas, Pinterest make it look simpler to pick brilliant ideas from different people who share the same thoughts.
