Since mobile phone and computer use are becoming a part of students' lifestyle, I decided to take that opportunity to use technology ready available in classroom instruction and see how much will it affect their learning. I have been using graphing calculator and another computer graphing software like Geogebra which are proven to be helpful in visualization of math concepts especially in Relations and Functions. So I thought this year, I want to explore a new technology to use in my class which uses online technology. I decided to try my co-Math teacher recommended last year - Desmos.
Desmos is a web or mobile application for graphing technology. I really want to explore and study it before I will use this application in January for the Linear Algebra Unit. These days I have been trying to study it in my spare time and trying to create an activity that can be used in my class.
I have created a sample activity in Desmos to pioneer and observe how does it affects students conceptualization in math concepts when it comes to graphing linear equations. Although I'm very impressed with the works of other math teachers, I would love to create more graphing activities for Math 10.

My Desmos
Important notes in using Desmos:
1) There's Desmos for teachers and students' use.
2) The first thing you should do is to create an account or log in using your Google account. Ask your students to create their Desmos personal accounts too.
3) You can create activities for the whole class to answer or perform online. You can generate a class code for the activity and you can give it to your students. Using this class code, they can log in and see the activity online.
